Privacy Policy — Humble Nest Egg

Humble Nest Egg does not collect any data.

This policy covers the Humble Nest Egg iPhone app specifically. It is separate from the general Humble Media privacy policy because Humble Nest Egg collects less than our other apps: it collects nothing at all.

No account, no bank logins

There is no sign-up and no account. The app never asks for your bank, brokerage or retirement account logins and never connects to them. You type in round numbers yourself.

No network requests of our own

The app sends nothing to Humble Media or anyone else. There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no remote configuration. The only network traffic is Apple’s: the App Store when you buy or restore the unlock, and iCloud when your plan syncs.

Where your plan is stored

Your plan (the numbers you enter, your scenarios and your settings) is stored on your iPhone. If you use iCloud, it also syncs through your own private iCloud database, under your Apple ID, so it can reach your other devices and survive a new phone. Apple holds that copy under its own privacy policy. Humble Media cannot see it.

Deleting the app removes the copy on your phone. To remove the iCloud copy too, go to your iPhone’s Settings, tap your name, then iCloud, and manage the storage for Humble Nest Egg.

What leaves your device

Nothing, unless you send it. A backup file, the PDF report and the spreadsheet export are created on your phone and go only where you choose to share them. The links to sources in the app open in Safari.

Face ID and reminders

If you turn on Lock with Face ID, iOS handles Face ID and tells the app only whether it succeeded. The reminder to update your balances every three months is a notification scheduled on your phone; no push service of ours is involved.

Purchases

Humble Nest Egg is free to use, with one optional in-app purchase. Your purchase is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Children

The app collects nothing from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

We might update this policy. We’ll always be transparent about any changes.
